Kayla Smith serves as the Chief Elections Official for Brazoria County Conservation and Reclamation District No. 3. County Commissioner elections shall be conducted in accordance with the Texas Election Code.

UPCOMING ELECTION

  • The 2026 General Election will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The following positions are up for election in the 2026 General Election and will serve a four-year term:

    • Commissioner Place #1 (currently held by Ricky Kubeczka)

    • Commissioner Place #3 (currently held by Jody Schibi)

CANDIDATE INFORMATION

Candidate requirements are outlined in the Enabling Legislation adopted by the Conservation and Reclamation District as: “Shall be qualified electors residing in the district and shall own property subject to taxation by the district.”

  • To apply to be a Candidate, please find the Candidate Packet below and complete the application along will all other necessary paperwork found throughout.
  • Deliver the Application to the BCC&RD3 Office at:   1318A Rosharon Road, Alvin, Texas 77511
