Kayla Smith serves as the Elections Clerk for Brazoria County Conservation and Reclamation District No. 3.
The C & R District’s elections are conducted by Brazoria County in accordance with the Texas Election Code.
UPCOMING ELECTION
The 2024 General Election will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The following position is up for election in the 2024 General Election and will serve a four-year term:
- Commissioner Place #2 (currently held by Alfred Froberg) is the only position open for election this year.
CANDIDATE INFORMATION
Candidate requirements are outlined in the Enabling Legislation adopted by the Conservation and Reclamation District as: “Shall be qualified electors residing in the district and shall own property subject to taxation by the district.”
- To apply to be a Candidate, please find the Candidate Packet below and complete the application along will all other necessary paperwork found throughout.
